Coffee Mornings

I went to the coffee morning in the Methodist Hall yesterday fully expecting it to be the final one. I was therefore very pleasantly surprised to learn, on my arrival, that a group had come forward at the last minute to volunteer to keep it going. The coffee morning on the last friday of the month has been a very good venue for a neighbourly chat over a cup of coffee/tea  and a biscuit and the stalls have over the years raised substantial funds for local charities. There will not be a meeting at the end of December, the next coffee morning will be on the 27th January. I look forward to seeing you there.
