Ultraversity
An online degree for
people in work, volunteers or parents. It is degree based upon each
individual researching their context and role (school, office,
parenting context).
It is a three year
course which involves becoming more knowledgeable about your particular
work role. The course is supported online through resources and a learning
community where over two hundred individuals gather online to share and
support.
Each student (researcher)
is also supported on a daily basis by a learning facilitator who helps
steer the direction of learning and to offer support wherever it is
required. There is no travel requirement for the course and it offers
excellent value for money (the degree is free for low income households).
The degree is from a full British University
(Anglia Polytechnic University) and the award is BA (Hons) Learning
Research & Technology. Starts Feb 2005.
Barlaston is already a hive of learning
activity with a learning facilitator and researchers already based in the
area. For a chat
