Laura Mc Phee and colleagues from Stafford & Rural Homes and Stafford Borough Council began the clearing of the overgrown old allotment area off Meadow Road on Wednesday 27th May.
They worked tirelessly to remove nettles brambles and weeds as a start to the project to have up to 10 plots on the site.
Disappointingly no residents turned up to assist but undaunted they carried on and will be organising another community day to help develop the plots ready for tenants in the autumn.
So if you are interested keep an eye out for the next work party.
