It was noted Cllr Tudor attended the meeting, however due to technical difficulties she lost the link and left the meeting.
2 Declarations of Interest – Cllr Bentley declared an interest being a neighbour of 10 Lakewood Drive.
3 Written applications for dispensations under the Localism Act 2011 – There were no written applications for dispensation.
4 Minutes of 3 November 2020 were accepted as a true record.
5 Planning Application Reference 20/32990/HOU at 10 Lakewood Drive Barlaston Park Stoke on Trent described as the building of a 2 Storey side extension to dwelling. New extension to be built with gable roof. Removal of existing garage. New single storey flat roof garage to be built parallel to dwelling. Construction of new dwarf wall to follow gradient incline in back garden. New driveway to be concrete/Tarmac.
It was noted the residents from the flats were not happy with the proposed building application, however there were no grounds under planning to reject this application.
Residents advised signs were not erected on posts or planning notification letters received, it was noted this was a Borough Issue as the Local Planning Authority.
One concern raised was the concrete and tarmac drive, this will cause run off water issues. It was resolved to approve the planning application highlighting Policy LNE1: Natural Environment Development i.e., to ensure surface water issues are addressed through the planning process.
