1 Apologies were received from Cllr’s O’Dunne, Borasinski and Bentley, it was resolved to accept these.
2 Declarations of Interest – Cllr Hemming declared an interest in Planning Application Ref 23/37416/HOU at The Cottage.
3 Written applications for dispensations under the Localism Act 2011 – There were no written applications for dispensation.
4 Minutes of meeting dated 4 July 2023 were accepted as a true record and were duly signed by the Chairman.
5 Planning issue(s) and outcomes
- Planning Application Reference 23/37416/HOU at The Cottage The Green Barlaston – described as 2 storey side extension. The Clerk has written to the Chief Executive of the Borough Council but to date no response has been received. The Clerk will continue to chase.
- Planning Application Reference 23/37167/OUT at Barlaston Golf Club Meaford Road Barlaston – proposed removal of existing public house and various extensions and erection of up to 3 detached dwellings – The Parish Council had no objection to planning on site, however the recommendation is to restrict planning to the existing footprint of the existing building, this is to ensure there is no opportunity for ribbon development.
