Minutes of the Barlaston Parish Council Meeting

50 Apologies – No apologies were received.
51 Declarations of Interest – there were no declarations of interest
52 Written applications for dispensations under the Localism Act 2011 – There were no written applications for dispensation.
53 Conclusion of the accounts for 2019/2020. The Clerk submitted the following documentation for approval:
Internal Audit Report 2019/2020
Annual Governance Statement 2019/2020
Accounting Statements 2019/2020
Explanation of significant variances in the accounting statement
It was resolved to accept these. The Annual Governance Statement and the Accounting Statement were duly signed by the Chairman.
The Clerk ran through the dates with regards to the exercise of Public Rights, which will commence on 10 August 2020 and conclude on 21 September 2020.
54 Internal Auditor recommendation for 2020/2021. It was resolved to retain the services of Toplis Associates Limited
