You will have seen in the last edition of the Heron that Barlaston is entering the Best Kept Village competion after a gap of fifteen years. Patrick Linehan of Longton Road has agreed to be the lead Councillor on planning our efforts and he has arranged to host a meeting to discuss the way forward at the Plume of Feathers starting at 6.30pm on Monday, 18th March.
Patrick is looking for people to help form a committee. He is also looking for volunteers from across the village to assist with the task of ensuring that the village presents itself in the best possible light. If you do not want to be on the committee but would like to play an active part on the project please attend the meeting or contact Patrick on 01782372878.
