Best Kept Village

posted in: Latest News | 0

Since last Friday I have walked in most streets in the village. Generally the weather has been sunny and bright so that it has been a good time to form an impression. My overall conclusion is of a very attractive village that residents have pride in with many well cared forand well presented gardens. This time of year the dafodills in public places like the Green and Orchard Place look stunning. There are, however, some areas that are not well cared for but they seemed to me to be very much in the minority.

A programme of litter picking has started and the organisers are looking for support. If you can help please do. Shortly planters will be placed at the main entrances to the village and they should look very attractive.

It is not that long to go before we are inspected.
