At the the Diamond Jubilee event in June the children present launched helium filled balloons with cards attached asking anyone who found one to write their name and address and send it back. Quite a few have been returned and the the child whose balloon travelled the furthest will be presented with a cash prize at the Village Show next Saturday (8th Sept). People will be amazed at the distance the winning balloon travelled.
