Today I visited the Wedgwood factory site with Councillor Ellie Philpott to discuss the proposed work programme being started to regenerate the Newstead and Hem Heath woods. This work which is supported by grants from the Forestry Commission is being managed by Ms Helen Dale of Staffordshire Wildlife Trust.
It was clear that as progress was made the environment around the northern part of Barlaston would be greatly enhanced.
