At the end of the 10.30am service at the Parish Church yesterday morning Richard Wright was presented with the Queen Elizabeth II Golden Jubilee Award for his contribution to village life over a period of 37 years as Village Postmaster. Following on Mike Dunn of Longton Road was presented with a Certificate of Commendation in recognition of his contribution to the management of the Village Hall
