I was pleased to receive a lot of very positive comments from many of the villagers who attended the Show on Saturday afternoon. It was a shock to find out that the Tittensor Show had been rearranged to take place on Saturday as well. From what I have been told the Barlaston Show was much better attended.
All week we had been concerned that the weather would be inclement on Saturday afternoon but in the event thankfully all was well and in fact it was quite warm.
Seeing how long it took to get into the Hall at the beginning, attendance was very good and there was a wide range of exhibits and activities to interest all ages. The judges were very complementary about the quality of entries. As always there are things to learn and this will be reflected in next year’s programme.
There is a lot of work involved in preparing the Hall for the Show over the Friday and Saturday morning and the team of volunteers worked brilliantly together to make sure that things went smoothly.
Thank you to all who helped to put the show together.
