To the Village Hall to attend the third Barlaston Village Show. I was delighted with the number of high standard entries we had this year. The show was opened by the Reverend Geoff Annas, Bishop of Stafford and trophies were presented by Dr Ann Glover, wife of Bishop Geoff, Liz Blakemore, Group Human Resources Director of Wedgwood, who presented a new Best in Show Trophy and Gina Proctor who presented a new trophy in member of her late husband Peter.
I would like to say a special thanks to the children and staff of Barlaston First School, every child in the school entered an exhibit into the show.
Congratulations to all prize winners and a very grateful thanks to our sponsors, Kitsons Chemist and Country Cabin.
