Villagers are rightly very concerned currently about two issues.
The first is about the changes to the bus route that is replacing the 350. The frequency of service has been reduced and the new route does not seem to provide a service to the Longton Road area.
The second is about the changes to the post box arrangements in the village. People miss the post box at the Green and other people would like to post a letter at Londis without having to go in the shop.
Representations are being made to the County Council about the new bus route and discussions will be held with Royal Mailabout the repositioning of mail boxes. Neither of these organisations are easy to deal with but with perseverance we will endeavour to make progress
